I’ve enjoyed a long career in the technology industry (hardware, software and services), and have worn many hats, including software engineer, pre-sales consultant, data center manager, Product Manager, Sales Manager, and VP of Marketing. Earlier, I was on-air talent (fancy talk for “Disc Jockey”) and Production Director for WONE/WTUE Radio in Dayton, Ohio.
I’m retired now, but still I enjoy learning about and using technology, travel, SCUBA (not enough time or money right now), flying (not enough time or money right now) and anything with a battery, cord or antenna. I have a fantastic wife, two great children and four unbelievably adorable grand-kids.
In 2018, my wife and I planned and took our dream vacation — three months in Europe, visiting at least ten countries, which my wife blogged here.
Hi Earl! Another AT40 fan here. Do you know when and when the special June 20, 1970, countdown will be aired again? So interesting!
Chris, it’s great to hear from another AT40 fan! The only thing close to official I’ve heard is that the special countdown will be scheduled for the 60th Anniversary of AT40’s debut. That’s 2030, I know! But as you know, my part in all this is very small and it’s now in the hands of others.
