I started this blog to learn about creating and managing a web site and understanding the tools and technologies that are available. I also like to share my opinions and ideas, and this is a pretty easy way to do that!
I’ve had a long career in the technology industry (hardware, software and services), and have worn many hats, including software engineer, data center manager, VP of Marketing, Sales Manager and pre-sales consultant.
Now I’m retired, but still I enjoy technology, travel, SCUBA (not enough time or money right now), flying (not enough time or money right now) and anything with a battery, cord or antenna. I have a fantastic wife, two great children and four unbelievably adorable grand-kids.
In 2018, my wife and I planned and took our dream vacation — three months in Europe, visiting at least ten countries, which my wife blogged here.
